Practitioner Bio
I am a HCPC registered Physiotherapist and member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), qualifying in 2007 and have worked across many different areas of healthcare throughout my career. Early on I trained in therapeutic massage and over the years expanded my bodywork practice into fascial release and holistic treatment approaches.
I do not believe therapy should feel purely passive or overly clinical. While I provide hands-on treatment, I also focus on empowering clients with practical things they can do themselves at home to support recovery and wellbeing.
I have worked within the NHS across a wide range of services including A&E, hospital wards and community rehabilitation. This experience allows me to understand the wider picture of someone’s health, looking not only at symptoms but also past medical history and lifestyle factors.
My physiotherapy training means I am often able to notice things a massage therapist may not. I approach every client holistically, considering how different aspects of health connect together. If needed, I can also help guide people towards other services or practitioners when further support may be beneficial.
My bodywork training began with massage through the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in Scotland in 2010. I later extended my training into fascial release, completing advanced training at the Exeter School of Bodywork in 2020.
Having lived with chronic health conditions myself for many years, I have developed a special interest in supporting people with long-term conditions and helping prevent ongoing tension and dysfunction in the body. The connection between mind and body is central to my work as a physiotherapist.
